Hi, my name is Jan. I am a researcher and PhD candidate at the University of Bremen, studying gamification in our department of mathematics and computer science. Among other topics, I teach courses on gamification and game studies. This site serves as a convenient collection of documents and information I wish to make available without posting them on my university profile. I am not yet sure what I will use the blog area for, but I could see it becoming a mixture of posts on research, teaching, gaming, and other hobbies. First and foremost, this site is supposed to replace the incredibly ugly page found at this address previously.
